Temporary file sharing that is easy to explain.
JustSeconds moves a file from your device to someone else through a download link. Upload a video, PDF, photo, or ZIP, then send the link through the conversation you already use. A QR code gives you another way to open that same transfer on a phone. Basic sending and receiving work without an account.
Choose and upload
Accept the terms, then choose your file. On a supported desktop browser, the folder option prepares a ZIP before uploading. Keep the page open until the completion screen appears.
Share the finished link
Copy the link after the upload finishes. You can also save the generated QR code or use the completion screen’s email option. A link prepared during an incomplete upload is not ready for the recipient.
Download before expiration
The recipient opens the link, checks the file details, and downloads the file. If you added a password, send it separately. Ask the recipient to save the file before the transfer expires.
Guest sharing or a free account?
Choose based on the files you need to deliver. The daily allowance is combined across transfers during a rolling 24-hour window; it is not a separate allowance for every upload.

You can start as a guest for a one-off handoff. Create a free account before uploading if you need the higher allowance, a transfer password, or a longer expiration.
When a link works better than an attachment
A video export or a folder of photographs can be awkward to attach to a message. A transfer link leaves the large file outside the email or chat: you send a short address, and the recipient downloads the file from the transfer page.
For a single PDF that fits comfortably in an email, an attachment may be enough. For several related documents, a ZIP keeps the collection together. For an ongoing shared workspace where people edit the same files, choose a collaboration tool rather than treating a temporary transfer as a shared drive.

An active link can be forwarded. A QR code is another representation of that same address, so anyone who can scan a public code can reach the download page. Registered users can add a password before selecting a file. This controls the download; it does not prevent a recipient from copying a file they have already downloaded.
Expiration stops new download requests after the transfer’s deadline. It does not recall downloaded copies. A direct download address issued just before expiration can remain usable briefly. Keep your own copy, and ask the sender for a new transfer if the old one is no longer available.

Questions before you send
Does the recipient need an account?
No. The recipient opens the transfer link and chooses Download File. A password-protected transfer also requires the password you selected. Registration is for additional sender features.
Is 5 GB a limit for each file or for the day?
For guests, 5 GB is the combined allowance over the previous 24 hours. Sending a 3 GB file leaves about 2 GB for another transfer in that window. A free account increases the combined daily allowance to 50 GB.
Do you resize photos or compress videos?
The file uploader sends the file you select without an image-resizing or video-conversion step. Select the original on your device if you want to deliver the original. Folder sharing packages files in a ZIP; it does not re-encode their contents.
What does the QR code open?
It opens the same JustSeconds download page as the share link. It does not contain the file itself, bypass a transfer password, or extend the expiration period. The recipient still needs an internet connection to download.
Can I send a folder from my phone?
Mobile folder selection varies. The mobile folder option selects photos and videos to package together, rather than a desktop-style folder tree. For a folder containing documents or many nested items, create a ZIP in your device’s file manager and use the file uploader, or use a computer.
Why can a folder take time before uploading starts?
JustSeconds first creates a ZIP on your device. Preparing your folder and Uploading your file are separate stages. Large collections need processing time and browser memory before network upload begins. Creating the ZIP in your file manager can be more practical for a large folder.
Can I use a link for a permanent menu or backup?
JustSeconds is for temporary delivery. Guest links last 7 days; registered links last up to 30 days. A printed QR code keeps pointing to its original link after that transfer expires. Use permanent hosting for materials that must remain available indefinitely, and keep your own originals.
Does a password hide the file name?
Password protection checks access to the download. Transfer details such as the file name and size can still appear on the download page. Choose a neutral file name if it includes information you do not want to reveal.
